Yes, We Can!

What a truly amazing night! Last night was definitely a night I will never forget. We made history and it was beautiful.

We had a party at Dad's house to watch the results come in. It was so much fun! Dad, JB, Katie, me, Martin, Matthew, Mikel, Amy, Nap, Jeannie, Mary, Juan and Danny (who flew in just to attend the party) all celebrated together.

The house was decorated.

We had tons of food, some cleverly named like Barack-O Tacos.

And Amy made blue jello shots!

They were a big hit!

We sat and watched the numbers with excitement building until it was finally time to call it for Barack! At that point it was time to open the magnum.

And celebrate, and celebrate, and celebrate some more, and scream a little, and jump up and down a little and hug a lot.

I can't wait to see the Obamas in the white house. America - help is on the way!

And Lindsay, I'm going to believe that your facebook status is referring the number of days until your next pregnancy.

America is changing and it's going to be for the better. Let's all encourage others to look past his skin color and see the amazing person who is going to lead this country to greatness!
